As the year draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on an extraordinary year with “Talent Bureau Wrapped 2024”. From unforgettable events to coast-to-coast growth, it’s been a year filled with inspiring moments and meaningful milestones.

In 2024, we proudly sponsored CSAE (Canadian Society of Association Executives), reaffirming our dedication to professional development and thought leadership within the events industry. This partnership showcased our commitment to empowering event professionals and creating impactful experiences.

One of the year’s highlights was when our remote team came together in Los Angeles. It was a chance to collaborate, connect with industry experts, and strengthen our bonds—both personally and professionally. Of course, we also found time for a little fun under the California sun. These moments reinforced our commitment to teamwork and innovation as we continue to grow.

2024 marked a year of expansion for Talent Bureau. With team members now based from Atlantic Canada to British Columbia, we’re proud to say we’ve grown into a truly coast-to-coast team. This growth allows us to better support clients and talent across the country, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.

This year, we hosted “Breaking Bread with Phil Wizard” – an unforgettable gathering in Toronto for clients and industry partners. The reception featured a compelling fireside chat with Olympic Breaking Champion, Phil Wizard, and acclaimed CBC reporter, Devin Heroux. It was an inspiring event filled with meaningful connections and engaging conversations that highlighted the power of collaboration in our industry.

Our very own Jeff Lohnes stepped into a leadership role as Co-Chair for the 2025 IASB (International Association of Speakers Bureaus) convention. This milestone solidifies our growing influence in the events world and reflects our commitment to driving the industry forward.

Our speakers made an incredible impact this year, commanding over 1.8 million seconds of stage time. They shared insights, inspired audiences, and left lasting impressions at events around the globe. Their work continues to be a cornerstone of what makes Talent Bureau so unique.

This year, our speakers achieved remarkable milestones:

  • Jody Carrington: Shared her wisdom on human connection and building resilience on the Today Show.
  • Phil Wizard: Made history by winning the first Olympic gold medal in breakdancing at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
  • Kardinal Offishall: Honoured with the 2024 Icon Award at this year’s Legacy Awards.
  • Madison Tevlin: Continued to amaze with her groundbreaking accomplishments, inspiring advocacy work, and global appearances.
  • Kate Beirness: Partnered with WestJet to surprise CFL fans, showcasing exceptional brand alignment.
  • Jesse Lipscombe, Jessica Moorhouse, Mandy Gill, and many more: Announced the release of their new books.

In 2024, we had the privilege of booking some of the biggest names in the industry, including:
