Dr. Shazma Mithani is an emergency physician, health advocate and public communicator based in Edmonton, Canada. Practicing adult and pediatric emergency medicine, she brings a frontline perspective to conversations about healthcare systems, public trust and health communication. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Mithani serves on the Board of Directors of the Alberta Medical Association. Dr. Mithani delivers workshops and educational sessions for physicians and medical learners through organizations including the Canadian Medical Association’s Physician Leadership Institute.
