Black History Month In Canada:

Every February, Canadians are invited to participate in Black History Month (BHM). BHM is a time to honour the legacy and importance of Black Canadians, past and present. It is a time to reflect on the achievements and impacts they have made on culture and society.

This year, the theme for Canada’s BHM is “Canadians of African Descent: Going forward, guided by the past.” The theme was inspired by the theme of the United Nations’ International Decade for People of African Descent (2015-2024).
