Meghan Gardiner is an actor and playwright who began her advocacy work in 2003 with the premiere of her first play, Dissolve. Inspired by her experience of being drugged and sexually assaulted, Meghan performed this show 850 times across North America, reaching audiences at colleges, universities, and conferences. She released the rights to the play in 2016, making way for continued advocacy.

Through her work, Meghan not only became an example of surviving gender-based violence but also a leading advocate for consent education and bystander intervention. Furthermore, she has been honoured with a citation from the American Alliance for Theatre in Education and was nominated as a YWCA Women of Distinction. Additionally, Meghan has earned four Jessie Richardson Theatre Award nominations, three Leo Award nominations, and won the Sydney Risk Award for emerging playwright in 2012.

Meghan Gardiner’s acting career spans across a variety of television shows, including The Good Doctor, The Flash, Firefly Lane, Family Law, Supergirl, Smallville, Beyond, and A Million Little Things. She has also starred in numerous Hallmark movies, showcasing her versatile talent on screen.
