Joyce Perrin is an international speaker, former hospital CEO, global health consultant, author, and adventurer whose work centres on ageing with purpose, courage, humour, and human connection. Joyce Perrin built a career in health care leadership. She served as a hospital CEO, worked as a global health consultant, and brought her skills in quality improvement to hospitals in Saudi Arabia. Having developed a quality improvement program for the World Health Organization, Joyce holds a rare mix of executive leadership, health care knowledge, and cross-cultural insight.
After retiring from the Canadian health care system, Joyce Perrin spent 23 years travelling the world, often on her own. She has now visited 187 countries and territories across seven continents, gathering stories that speak to courage, kindness, purpose, and the small moments that bring people together. Her travels have taken her far beyond sightseeing. They have deepened her belief that one simple hello can open a door, reduce loneliness, and remind people that connection is available almost anywhere.
Joyce Perrin is also the author of Ants in My Pants, a TEDx speaker, and the recipient of the JourneyWoman Evelyn Hannon Solo Travel Award. At almost 64, she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. She also co-founded the Panama Hospice and Respite Foundation, continuing her lifelong commitment to care, service, and community.
