Marc Kennedy is one of Canada’s most accomplished curlers. He is also one of the most decorated team-sport athletes in Canadian Olympic history. A four-time Olympian and three-time Olympic medallist, Marc has won two Olympic gold medals and one Olympic bronze. He became the first Canadian curler to win three Olympic medals. He is also a two-time world champion and four-time Brier champion.

Marc played a key role on Kevin Martin’s legendary undefeated gold-medal team at Vancouver 2010. He has competed — and won — across different teams, roles, eras, and pressure environments. His career has spanned four Olympics. It has included gold in 2010, a fourth-place finish at PyeongChang 2018, bronze at Beijing 2022, and another Olympic gold with Team Brad Jacobs at Milano Cortina 2026.

Beyond the medals, Marc’s story is one of sustained excellence, adaptability, trust, and resilience. After stepping away from competition to heal injuries and focus on family, he returned to elite curling, joined new teams, contributed both on and off the ice, and continued to perform at the highest level.
