Jia Jiang is the world’s leading expert on rejection and the creator of the global phenomenon 100 Days of Rejection. His TED Talk, What I Learned from 100 Days of Rejection, is one of the most viewed of all time, ranking in the top 200 out of more than 60,000 talks. That viral project became the basis for his bestselling book and #1 audiobook Rejection Proof. Today, Jia is a top-booked speaker on confidence, resilience, and overcoming fear.

Jia’s upcoming book The Art of Achieving Ambitious Things (Simon and Schuster) expands his mission to help people reach bold goals through his One Action Goal system. His personal journey has inspired audiences worldwide. He grew up in Beijing, dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur like Bill Gates, and came to the United States as an exchange student. He taught himself English in rural Louisiana and later built a career as an author and speaker. His clients include Google, Dell Technologies, Johnson and Johnson, Visa, Allstate, and many other Fortune 500 companies.

Jia’s “100 Days of Rejection” stories have become iconic. He asked for a “burger refill,” requested Olympic-ring-shaped doughnuts at Krispy Kreme and succeeded, and convinced a flight attendant to let him address a plane of passengers. These moments, both humorous and meaningful, shape the lessons he brings to every keynote.

Jia is the CEO of Rejection Therapy, a platform that helps people overcome fear through practical tools. He also founded Wuju Learning, which trains organizations to build fearless cultures. In 2022, he joined the Board of LifeHikes, a global professional development company. Earlier in his career, he worked at Dell Technologies and LinkedIn.

Jia holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Duke University.
