Tynomi Banks is an international, world-class drag entertainer known for full production performances and a powerful, playful stage presence.

Her career is full of firsts. She was the first drag entertainer to perform at Toronto’s Dundas Square during World Pride 2014. During Pride 2018, she became the first drag entertainer to work with Hudson’s Bay Company and the only queen to partner with Spotify on a featured playlist, which earned her a billboard over Dundas Square. She was also the first drag entertainer to serve as trophy bearer at the 7th Annual Canadian Screen Awards.

In 2021, Banks was the only drag performer besides RuPaul to appear in a Super Bowl ad. That February, she partnered with Black Lives Matter Canada on a merchandise line, with a portion of proceeds going toward the fight against anti-Black racism, liberating Blackness, supporting Black healing, affirming Black existence, and creating freedom to love and self-determine.

In 2024, Tynomi made her music debut with the single “Die For Love” and was a featured artist on Grammy winner Nelly Furtado’s “Save Your Breath.”

Banks competed on Season 1 of Canada’s Drag Race and returned for Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World Season 2.
