About This Speaker: Taylor Pendrith
Taylor Pendrith is a Canadian professional golfer competing on the PGA Tour. Known for his long drives and consistent performance, Pendrith captured his first PGA Tour victory at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson in May 2024. He followed that win with top-10 finishes at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, in San Diego, and a top-five result in Minnesota. In 2024, he also made his Masters debut and qualified for his first Tour Championship at East Lake.
Pendrith played collegiate golf at Kent State University from 2010 to 2014, where he was teammates with fellow PGA Tour players Corey Conners and Mackenzie Hughes. As a standout amateur, he made the cut as the low amateur at the 2014 Canadian Open and helped Team Canada finish second at the Eisenhower Trophy that same year.
Turning professional in 2014, Pendrith began on PGA Tour Canada and earned his way to the Web.com Tour in 2016 after three runner-up finishes. Although that season presented challenges, he rebounded on the Canadian Tour with two wins in 2019, finishing second on the Order of Merit and advancing to the Korn Ferry Tour.
In 2020, Pendrith earned four runner-up finishes on the Korn Ferry Tour and finished T-23 at the U.S. Open, leading to his PGA Tour promotion for the 2021 season. He continued to impress with a runner-up finish at the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic.
Pendrith has also represented the International Team at the Presidents Cup in both 2022 and 2024. The 2024 event was held at Royal Montreal Golf Club, where he joined fellow Canadians and former teammates Conners and Hughes under captain Mike Weir.
Taylor Pendrith’s journey—from Canadian amateur standout to PGA Tour champion—makes him one of Canada’s most exciting and inspiring athletes in professional golf today.
