Give Jason’s podcast, Build for Tomorrow, a listen:
Times of great disruption can be times of great opportunity — but how do you take advantage of it? In this high-energy, dynamic, multimedia virtual talk, Jason Feifer breaks down a strategy for seeing opportunity in change. He argues that we’ve gone through four distinct phases during the pandemic (panic, adaptability, new normal, and most importantly, “wouldn’t go back”), and offers viewers a way to reframe their relationship with change, spot opportunity in the once-impossible, and get to a place where they say, “I wouldn’t go back.”
As the editor in chief of Entrepreneur magazine, Jason Feifer is a recognized authority on entrepreneurship—and he’s not afraid to pull back the curtain on the tricky, difficult, or just downright embarrassing parts of entrepreneurship and his own journey. Jason’s talks are funny, engaging, and motivating, and include stories of what he’s learned from the most impressive and well-known entrepreneurs of our time.
Every entrepreneur wants to press, but few understand how to reach out to a reporter and frame their story in a way that’ll get attention. Journalists are like customers and investors: Before reaching out to them, you must understand what they want and how you can provide it. In this keynote, Entrepreneur magazine editor-in-chief Jason Feifer digs into his career — and his inbox! — to provide a useful and revealing guide to what journalists think, what they’re looking for, and how to develop a press strategy that really works.
Why do people resist new things? It’s a question every organization needs to consider—because in order to succeed, all organizations must change consumers’ habits and inspire its team to innovate. But none of that comes easy, as Jason Feifer knows. Through his work as Entrepreneur magazine editor in chief, where he’s interviewed the world’s greatest change agents, and his popular podcast Pessimists Archive, where he explores the history of resistance against great innovations, Jason has identified the barriers to change and the steps required to overcome them. In this funny and inspiring talk, Jason explains it all by taking his audience on a journey through time—telling riveting stories of why people resisted everything from coffee to the bicycle to recorded music, and explaining how today’s businesses and marketers can shape the future.
