Bret Hart is a retired professional wrestler, author, and actor, widely regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Known by his nickname “The Hitman,” Hart rose to fame in the 1980s and 1990s through his legendary tenure with the WWF (now WWE) and WCW.

Hart began his wrestling journey in 1978 with his father Stu Hart’s Stampede Wrestling promotion. He debuted in the WWF in 1984 as part of the Hart Foundation alongside Jim Neidhart and manager Jimmy Hart. By 1988, Bret had transitioned into a solo career, quickly becoming a fan favorite.
