About This Speaker: Greg Hemmings

Greg Hemmings is the founder of the production company, Hemmings House Pictures Ltd. Hemmings House has produced shows for global television partners such as CBC, W Network, OWN and Discovery Channel.

He started his career as a camera assistant in the film industry. Working on projects for Disney and other large studios, Greg was discouraged by the abusive nature of the industry. The abuse and bully culture promoted him to quit his role. He went on to work as a “pirate” on a cargo ship in the Caribbean. This ship delivered cargo to remote island communities all by the power of wind. During his time in the Caribbean, Greg learned that business success does not have to happen at the expense of others. Rather, businesses can be vehicles for social and environmental change. Without a doubt, change can occur if a business is built on a culture of respect and kindness-the two ingredients of a thriving creative environment.

Additionally, Greg and his team share stories with brand marketing clients to inspire a happy and kind worlds for their stakeholders. Apart from this, Greg also hosts the podcast, The Boiling Point. His podcast has featured hundreds of icons in the business leadership and sustainability worlds. These include thought leaders like Seth Godin (Author), Chris Hadfield (Astronaut), and Heather Moyse (Olympian).
