World Mental Health Day 2019 is upon us. Annually observed on October 10th, this day gives an opportunity to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world.
This year, the World Health Organization (WHO) is putting the focus on suicide prevention. According to WHO, someone loses their life to suicide every 40 seconds. Their campaign “40 seconds of action” wants to raise awareness of the significance of suicide as a global public health problem.
