For over 20 years, Christine Sinclair has dazzled international audiences with her soccer finesse as she changed the game of women’s soccer forever. With three Olympic medals (including the most recent gold) and multiple CONCACAF Championship titles, Christine has inspired youth across Canada to put on their cleats and follow their dreams. Even respected by Canada’s top rival, the US (see Twitter block-gate here), fans are saddened that they will not be able to see Christine sport the Canadian jersey in upcoming international tournaments.

Christine has used her voice in the soccer community to advocate for the importance of gender equality in the sport. In 2023, alongside her teammates Janine Beckie, Sophie Schmidt and Quinn, they stood before the House of Commons to fight for pay equity.
